PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1849
AMENDING PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBERED SEVENTEEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-ONE BY ADDING TWO SECTIONS AFTER SECTION FOURTEEN THEREOF

I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, in order to effect minor amendments to existing law and to correct certain typographical errors therein, do hereby order and decree the following:

Section 1. Two new sections, denominated as Sections fifteen and sixteen, are hereby added and inserted after Section fourteen of Presidential Decree No. 1771 which shall read as follows:

Section 15. All acts, decrees, orders, rules and regulations, or parts thereof, which are contrary to, or inconsistent with the Decree are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly.

Section 16. This Decree shall take effect immediately upon its promulgation.”

Section 2. This Decree shall take effect immediately.

Done in the City of Manila, this 11th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-two.
